The most fascinating watches among the Watches & Wonders 2025 exhibit weren’t just novel; they defied convention and reinterpreted what contemporary horology could be.

The most notable works from this year embraced storytelling, sculpture, and technical skill in equal measure, striking a balance between intricacy and clarity.

The industry kept pushing for innovation without losing sight of quality, from incredibly thin movements housed in incredibly slim cases to tiny repeaters made of unusual materials.

As designers drew inspiration from everything from the soil to the sky, themes of transparency, depth, and celestial influence reverberated throughout the fair. Duality was emphasized: art and engineering, legacy and experimentation, elegance and function.

These timepieces, and the bold ideas behind them, made it clear that Watches & Wonders 2025 wasn’t just about keeping time. It was about shaping its future.

ANGELUS: THE CHRONOGRAPHE TÉLÉMÈTRE

A limited edition of two sets of 25 steel clocks and an additional 15 in 18-carat yellow gold will be available from Angelus for the Chronographe Télémètre.

ARMIN STROM: GMT RESONANCE DUAL TIME MANUFACTURE EDITION

The in-house-designed, produced, and manufactured ARF22 calibre is the central component of this Armin Strom horological experiment.
