The grim world of The Walking Dead expands once again as Dead City returns for its second season, premiering in the MENA region on May 5th, 2025.
Set six months after the events of season one, the new chapter follows Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they continue their uneasy alliance in a crumbling, post-apocalyptic Manhattan. As the pair navigates a city plagued by chaos and danger, loyalties are tested and survival becomes more complex with each passing day.
The upcoming season features eight episodes penned by writers Eli Jorné, Zoe Vitale, Keith Staskiewicz, and Sarah Nolen. Directing duties are shared by returning directors Michael Satrazemis and Ed Ornelas, with Lauren Cohan stepping behind the camera for the first time to direct episodes four and six.
Episodes will be released weekly starting May 5th, with the series available in the region via STARZPLAY, coinciding with the U.S. rollout.
