Razane Jammal Set to Star in “Al Qadar” – The Arabic Adaptation of the Popular Turkish Drama

Renowned British-Lebanese actress Razane Jammal continues to captivate global audiences with her versatile acting skills. This December, she will lead the Arabic adaptation of the Turkish drama Lügat el Qadar (Al Qadar), a thrilling new series set to premiere on MBC and Shahid. This project marks another significant milestone in Jammal’s rising career, further solidifying her position as a top international talent.

In Al Qadar, Jammal steps into a transformative role as a strong-willed girl from the countryside, struggling with the consequences of a difficult decision made to protect her family from the oppressive grip of her toxic father. Starring alongside renowned Syrian actors Qusai Khauli and Dima Kandalaft, this series is expected to deepen the audience’s admiration for Jammal’s acting range, following her successful performance in the widely-watched series Al Thaman.

Beyond TV, Jammal is also making waves in cinema. She is set to lead the female role in Asad Aswad, a historical action film directed by the world-renowned filmmaker Mohamed Diab. In this Egyptian production, Jammal will star alongside the popular actor Mohamed Ramadan, marking another major achievement in her career.

Recently, Jammal wrapped up filming for the highly anticipated second season of The Sandman for Netflix, where she reprises her role as Lyta Hall. This season is set to premiere in 2025 and will see Jammal continuing her journey as the first Arab actress to join the DC Comics universe. Her role in the debut season of The Sandman garnered global attention, with the series topping Netflix charts and becoming one of the most successful TV shows of 2022.

Before Al Thaman, Jammal captured hearts across the Arab world with her role in Kira & El Gin, a historical drama directed by Marwan Hamed. She played Emily, the daughter of a British judge who falls in love with the Egyptian revolutionary Ahmed Kira. This role earned Jammal the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 49th Cinema Society Festival, solidifying her place in the film industry.

As she balances multiple high-profile projects on international platforms, Razane Jammal’s career continues to soar. Whether in Turkey, Egypt, or London, her ability to seamlessly transition between diverse roles is a testament to her immense talent and global appeal.
