Gothic glam, chilling mysteries, and plenty of deadpan sass — Wednesday is back. Netflix has officially revealed the first details and premiere dates for the highly anticipated second season of its hit series Wednesday, with new episodes arriving in two waves later this year.
Season 2 of Wednesday will premiere in two parts:
- Part 1 (Episodes 201–204) debuts August 6, 2025
- Part 2 (Episodes 205–208) lands on September 3, 2025
Returning to the eerie yet enchanting halls of Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Season 2 promises to up the ante with even darker twists and sharper turns. Jenna Ortega reprises her breakout role as Wednesday Addams, navigating a fresh maze of foes, familial tension, and the ever-present supernatural undercurrent that made the first season such a runaway success.

This season, Wednesday isn’t just dodging social norms — she’s diving deeper into a haunting new mystery that threatens everything she holds dear. With her deadpan delivery and razor-sharp wit intact, fans can expect even more eerie elegance and unpredictable mayhem.
Behind the scenes, creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return to steer the ship, joined once again by gothic visionary Tim Burton, who directs four of the eight episodes and continues his role as executive producer.
The expanded cast adds even more intrigue to the season, with series regulars like Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez. A star-studded lineup of guest stars includes Thandiwe Newton, Christopher Lloyd, Fred Armisen, and Joanna Lumley, to name just a few.
The season’s directing team also includes Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson, helping to shape a visually rich and tonally twisted continuation of the series.
Produced by MGM Television, Wednesday Season 2 looks poised to deliver another unforgettable term at Nevermore. Fans — sharpen your scowls and mark your calendars.
