French luxury house Moynat unveils a whimsical new chapter in its story: an exclusive collaboration with celebrated artist Kasing Lung, the creative force behind The Monsters.
This limited-edition capsule marries Moynat’s artisanal savoir-faire with Lung’s fantastical universe, transforming handbags, leather goods, and accessories into collectible works of art.
A MEETING OF WORLDS
Born in Hong Kong and now based between Hong Kong and Belgium, Kasing Lung has spent over a decade building his imaginative universe.
Inspired by Nordic folklore, comics, and children’s storytelling, Lung introduced The Monsters in 2015 through a trilogy of books. Since then, his characters: especially the mischievous Labubu, wide-eyed Zimomo, and mighty King Mon, have grown into an international phenomenon, spanning limited-edition art pieces, figurines, and plush dolls beloved by collectors worldwide.

Moynat’s collaboration brings these beloved characters onto its signature M Canvas, reimagined through the Maison’s refined craftsmanship.
The collection spans tote bags in three sizes, the sculptural Hobo Bag, the compact Mini 48h, and the rare, ultra-exclusive Mignon Bags.

Timed with the 10th anniversary of The Monsters, the first chapter of this collaboration will debut in early October 2025. Since his beginnings as an illustrator in 2011 with How2work, Kasing Lung has steadily built an extraordinary career. From publishing children’s books such as My Little Planet (2013) and Lizzy Wil Dansen (2014), to the global success of The Monsters vinyl figures with Pop Mart in 2019, his creations have captured imaginations across continents.
Exhibiting under Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Gallery, Lung has staged solo shows in Tokyo (2020) and Hong Kong (2024), cementing his reputation as both storyteller and fine artist.
