Egyptian ready-to-wear brand MAMZI introduces Firenze, its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. A tribute to the artistry and architecture of Florence, shot by Amr Ezzeldin, the collection blends classical inspiration with modern silhouettes, creating designs that are refined yet effortlessly wearable.
FLORENCE AS INSPIRATION
Firenze draws from Florence’s iconic landmarks. From the majestic dome of the Duomo to the graceful arches of the Loggia, the tranquil flow of the Arno River, and the geometric patterns of Fiorenza, each embroidered detail tells a story of artistry and craftsmanship.
“There are no limits, no boundaries to concepts and new ideas. I let my imagination take the lead in all my designs,” says Mariam Magdy Abdelghany.
Sculpted silhouettes, sharp tailoring, and fluid forms reinterpret classical art into wearable pieces, allowing women to express elegance and confidence.
DESIGNED FOR THE MODERN WOMAN
Though inspired by a Western city, Firenze is tailored for Middle Eastern women. Modest cuts, layered versatility, and breathable yet structured fabrics ensure the collection enhances presence without overwhelming the wearer. Each piece frames the woman, rather than consuming her, offering elegance that feels personal and empowered.
SIGNATURE PIECES
Key designs such as Notte, Duomo, Loggia, Arno, and Fiorenza highlight architectural precision and fluidity. Dresses flow like stone drapery, tops boast structured elegance, and tailored pieces maintain form, all while allowing individuality to shine.
“I’ve been sketching since childhood, but it was during my sophomore year at college that I decided fashion was my path professionally,” says Mariam Magdy Abdelghany.
