L’Oréal Paris chose the historic Saladin Citadel as the backdrop for its newest, and arguably most resonant, initiative: Set El Beit. A deliberate twist on the traditional “Set Beit,” the rephrasing adds a single but powerful “El,” transforming the phrase into a title of honor.

RECLAIMING THE TITLE

The message of the night was unmistakable: whether she runs a company, a household, or both, the woman of the house is the woman of the house and that is a crown worthy role. That idea came to life from the moment guests walked in.

A NIGHT OF BEAUTY, PLAY, AND PURPOSE

The venue unfolded into a series of immersive experiences, each designed to make women feel celebrated, seen, and indulged. Glam stations offered effortless transformations, from face gems to makeup refreshes that delivered signature L’Oréal polish. Nearby, a magazine cover photobooth invited guests to bask in their Set El Beit moment which were then framed prints that preserved each pose as a keepsake from the night.

The charm bar quickly became a hub of joy as women customized the chain bracelets handed to them at the entrance, choosing charms that reflected their stories. Fashion took center stage with the limited edition Temraza x L’Oréal T-shirt, which carried the slogan Set El Beit boldly across the back and a pearl and diamond motif on the front, a symbolic reminder that women are precious, powerful, and resilient. Close by, the playful Ring the Bell for a Gift corner revealed makeup bags filled with everything from shampoo to mascara, each one personalized on the spot with the guest’s name in Arabic calligraphy.

A STAR STUDDED CIRCLE OF VOICES

A-list guests filled the Citadel courtyard Dalia El Beheri, Nicole Saafan, Yasmina Eyad, Yasmine Kenawi, and many others each adding unmistakable glamour to the evening. At the heart of the event stood L’Oréal ambassador and guest of honor Yasmine Sabry, whose presence electrified the atmosphere. Her keynote delivered the line that quickly became the heartbeat of the night “Wear the crown even if you’re the only one who can see it.”

Later on Sarah El Battouty, Kesmat El Mehelmy, Farida Temraza, Reem Nouman, Jessy Radwan, and Rana Arafa all joined on the stage for a dynamic panel discussion. Their conversation was candid and unfiltered, going into the weight of expectations, the responsibility, the slow grind behind success, the moments of doubt, and the victories that follow. All of them seem to agree on one thing: the journey may be tough, but the outcome is worth every step be the solution you seek.

WHEN MOVEMENTS SPEAK MORE THAN WORDS

Before Sabry’s appearance, the evening opened with a moving interpretive dance performance. Women representing different professions engineers, doctors, ballerinas, and more wove across the floor in choreography that celebrated both individuality and unity. The performance reached its peak when the dancers formed the phrase Set El Beit, transforming the theme into a powerful piece of visual poetry.

A NIGHT THAT REFRAMED A NARRATIVE

L’Oréal’s Set El Beit wasn’t just an event; it was a cultural reframing. A reminder that titles don’t shrink women, they expand them. Whether she’s building a career, raising a family, or doing both at once, the woman of the house is already wearing her crown.
