The grace and strength that are passed down through the years are reflected in the beauty and elegance of femininity, which are intricately entwined with heritage. The essence of women carries the wisdom and customs of the past, much as cultural artifacts like the Matrioszka doll retain layers of significance and history.
The feminine spirit is enhanced by this connection to heritage, which elevates it to the status of a symbol of fortitude and depth, as well as elegance and delicacy, based on the stories and legacies that mold identity and character.
HOMELAND BY TINA WYSE
“My inspiration behind this shoot was my homeland and a woman’s figure. Łansztuk Estate is located in Northern Poland where I grew up, it’s a place where everything slows down, two wooden cottages among fields and green forests with no neighbors around.
This peaceful and quiet place seemed to be a perfect match to envision a version of the woman we love and long for; elegant, sophisticated, and delicate but strong in her femininity with a mysterious aura, that evokes curiosity and makes you want to know more about her.
In one of the photos, a model is holding a wooden roll called Matrioszka, which was quite famous in Eastern Europe. It’s a big wooden doll that splits in half and inside you have a similar and smaller doll that also splits in half and inside there is another one and so on and so on until we reach the smallest one.
It’s a tiny vintage accent I wanted to include in the shoot to stress the homeland accents of the shoot.”
