In a moment when luxury is rediscovering the poetry of craft, Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection arrives as a study in motion: of bodies, fabrics, eras, and identities.

Creative Director, Maximilian Davis, deepens his ongoing dialogue with dance, this time looking to the raw, emotional world of German Tanztheater. The result is a collection shaped by dualities: softness and strength, surrealism and utility, liberation and restraint.

For the Ferragamo woman: refined, expressive, and attuned to craft, FW25 feels like an invitation to move differently.

A CHOREOGRAPHY OF TIME: 1920s FREEDOM, 1980s EXPRESSION

Davis creates a bridge between the spirited rebellion of the 1920s and the emotional honesty of 1980s expressionist dance. Silhouettes nod subtly to those decades without falling into nostalgia.

Silken slips skim the body, interrupted with drop-waist lace or unexpected shearling collages.

Tailoring borrows from uniform codes but dissolves into softness through leather treatments and languid cuts.

There’s a cinematic quality throughout, dreamlike prints appear as fleeting gestures, while bags filled with fur and jersey knits are reconfigured into fluid shapes, introducing a surreal twist. The familiar becomes unfamiliar, a signature Davis tension.

THE POETICS OF CONTRAST

The heart of the collection lies in its contrasts: echoing Tanztheater’s emotional spectrum. Satin trenches cinch tightly over the torso, creating a dialogue between fluidity and structure.

Cashmere meets high-shine leathers; soft feathers are pressed flat; poppies spring from ribbon-thin stems.

Every piece feels like an expression of internal movement, a choreography rendered in texture.

BLOOMS OF THE ARCHIVE

Ferragamo’s floral legacy resurfaces with a striking presence. Archival motifs from the brand’s vibrant 1980s campaigns blossom across accessories and footwear.

Organza, satin, and leather flowers spill across almond-toe pumps and wrap around calves in sculptural sandals.

A new wedge: sleek, elongated, and Futurist, pays homage to Salvatore Ferragamo’s mid-century covered-heel innovation, reaffirming the house’s heritage of technical artistry.

For men, the classics are subverted: brogues and booties adopt zipped closures or heavily grained leathers, adding a hint of irreverence to tradition.

ACCESSORIES WITH THEATRICAL INTENT

Evening bags bloom with organza petals, turning each piece into a wearable vignette. The iconic Hug bag evolves, doubled, belted across the body, reimagined as a feathered pouch, or softened for the season’s mood. The effect is intimate and expressive, as though each piece carries a secret narrative.

THE VARA ICON: HERITAGE IN MOTION

As Ferragamo enters FW25 with bold creative energy, its most enduring emblem, the Vara, remains at the center of the brand’s story.

Born in 1978, its signature grosgrain bow has become a generational symbol of craftsmanship and individuality.

This season, Vara’s legacy feels more resonant than ever. Reimagined in sandals, slingbacks, pumps, and ballerinas, the icon travels seamlessly from day to night, from New York to Seoul, adapting to every woman’s rhythm.

Each fold of the bow still holds the imprint of Italian artisanship, a gesture of timeless refinement.

Vara’s message aligns effortlessly with the FW25 collection: an embrace of modernity grounded in heritage, expression rooted in craft.

WHERE TO EXPERIENCE FERRAGAMO

Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, and the full Vara range are available at the brand’s boutiques across Egypt, including the First Mall and the flagship at Downtown Katameya Mall.

The collection is also available through luxury retailer dstore, both in-store and online for those who prefer a digital luxury experience.

FW25 marks a season where Ferragamo doesn’t just dress the body, it moves with it. In a world seeking meaning and elegance, the house once again proves that craftsmanship can be as expressive as choreography, and just as unforgettable.
