POETIC COMPLICATIONS COLLECTION
With the Poetic Complications collection, the watchmaking mastery developed by Van Cleef & Arpels combines precious materials and traditional savoir-faire to bring to life a tender story that enlivens every dial. Two new watches enrich the collection: Lady Jour Nuit and Lady Arpels Jour Nuit. Awed by the spectacle of the stars, the Maison reinvents the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit watch, with two new models 33 and 38 mm in diameter.
LADY ARPELS BRISE D’ÉTÉ WATCH
Paying tribute to nature, a source of inspiration for the Maison since its creation, the Lady Arpels Brise d’Eěteě watch celebrates the freshness of a summer morning. This new creation brings corollas into bloom within the Van Cleef & Arpels garden. White and yellow gold butterflies rendered in plique-aĚ-jour enamel not only tell the time, but flutter off thanks to an on-demand animation module that also breathes life into the flowers and their stems.
EXTRAORDINARY DIALS COLLECTION
The Extraordinary Dials collection embraces the Lady Arpels Jour Enchanteě and Lady Arpels Nuit Enchantěe creations. The Lady Arpels Jour Enchantée brings to life a graceful silhouette picking flowers under the early morning sun. Light passes through generous leaves of white gold, plique-aĚ-jour enamel and diamonds harboring a field of flowers aglow in dazzling colors. The Lady Arpels Nuit Enchantée features a moon kissed flowerbed upon which a fairy momentarily rests her graceful silhouette inside a cave of dazzling crystals.
EXTRAORDINARY OBJECTS COLLECTION
Van Cleef & Arpels has created precious objects that spark awe and enchantment since its foundation. The pieces, remarkable for their combinations of materials, set the stage for a dialogue between jewelry, watchmaking and meětiers d’art. For Watches and Wonders 2024, the Maison presented two original automatons, Apparition des Baies and Bouton d’Or. The Apparition des Baies features the gradual opening of lacquered rose gold-leaves to reveal a white-gold, diamond and sapphire bird spreading its wings with lifelike authenticity. The Bouton d’Or automaton includes a fairy, crowned with diamonds, and clad in a flamboyant rose-gold gown trimmed with blue lacquer, doing pirouettes in an enchanted dance upon a blooming flowerbed.
