Chopard took glamour to galactic heights with its annual Cannes gala evening, transforming a private airport hangar into an interstellar haven for the senses.
Titled UNIVERSE, the night unfolded as a journey through the personal cosmos of Caroline Scheufele, the Maison’s Artistic Director and Co-President, revealing her passions through the 2025 Red Carpet Collection and the newest silhouettes from Caroline’s Couture, paired with shoes by Italian house Casadei.
STARLIT AND SUNSET PRELUDE
As the Cannes sky softened into hues of orange and amethyst, guests gathered for a cocktail reception bathed in sunset tones.
Model and philanthropist Petra Nemcova welcomed attendees as the evening’s master of ceremonies, accompanied by a live piano performance from Peter Bence and the mesmerizing illusions of David Jarre.
The guest list sparkled with international luminaries, including Cannes jury members Halle Berry and Alba Rohrwacher, Chopard ambassadors Zhang Linghe and Jacky Ickx, and stars such as Isabelle Huppert, James Franco, Carla Bruni, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Yasmine Sabri, Emma Thynn, Paulo Dybala, Marcelo, Karolina Kurkova, Mouni Roy, Cody Fern, and many more.
ENCHANTED FOREST DINNER & CELESTIAL CATWALK
Dinner was served in a lush, forest-like dining room evoking the origins of the Earth, an immersive landscape of serpentine mirrored tables and blooming foliage.
The meal began with turbot with champagne-elderflower, and closed with a dazzling dark blue mascarpone sphere surrounded by golden pralines, a nod to the infinite cosmos.
The evening’s highlight was a spellbinding fashion show that unveiled the 78 Haute Joaillerie creations of Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection 2025, paired with Scheufele’s latest couture looks.
The show was a tribute to Caroline’s memories, inspirations, and emotional universe, culminating in the appearance of supermodels Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Chanel Iman, Shanina Shaik, Toni Garrn, Izabel Goulart, and Mika Schneider.
DANCING UNDER THE STARS
The final act took guests under a sky full of stars, where the celebration turned celestial. Pop sensation Ellie Goulding performed her most iconic hits, including Love Me Like You Do, Still Falling For You, and Burn, before Craig David took the stage for a DJ set that sent the crowd spinning into the early hours.
