This season, brown has become fashion’s most indulgent neutral.

Across the SS25 and Resort 2025 runways, designers leaned into earthy tones, from Pantone’s Mocha Mousse to deep chocolate and sun-kissed tan, showing that brown is no longer a background shade but the statement itself.

At Prada, Hermès, and Max Mara, brown appeared in everything from fluid dresses and tailored sets to glossy leather outerwear.

The appeal lies in its quiet luxury: rich, grounded, and endlessly versatile. Unlike stark black or white, brown brings warmth and softness, pairing beautifully with pastels like butter yellow and mint, or layered in tonal head-to-toe looks.

Whether draped in chocolate satin or styled in sandy knits, the message is clear: brown has taken center stage, proving itself the chicest way to feel both timeless and contemporary.
