Day three of Paris Fashion Week featured a wide mix of creativity, nostalgia, and avant-garde aesthetics on the runways. Designers experimented with the balance of structure and movement, pushing the boundaries of both workmanship and concept.

Acne Studios and Courrèges led the day’s shows, which included collections that recreated traditional styles through modern perspectives, concentrating on themes such as time, memory, and personal identity.

Paris remained the focus of high fashion, with each runway show providing something daring and thought-provoking.

ACNE STUDIOS

Acne Studios’ Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week emphasized the balance of elegance and imperfection, capitalizing on the contrasts that constitute contemporary identity. Inspired by the dichotomy of handmade and technology, the collection combined rough, unrefined edges with tailored, precise forms.

The palette was kept simple, with neutral tones such as beige, white, and black punctuated by subdued splashes of color. Textural aspects were prominent, with layers, draping, and a mix of soft and rigid fabrics. Key pieces featured giant trench coats, asymmetrical dresses, and deconstructed knitwear, all of which exuded fluidity and ease.

BALMAIN

Olivier Rousteing’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection for Balmain drew inspiration from the intersection of fashion and beauty, reflecting his vision for their evolving relationship.

He incorporated beauty elements into his designs, highlighted by subtle references to the new perfume range launched in collaboration with Estée Lauder.

Key pieces included sculpted dresses showcasing bold, architectural shapes and a striking lipstick print dress that cleverly integrated beauty-inspired motifs into high fashion, complemented by Rousteing’s signature bold shoulder silhouettes and sculptural forms.

His commitment to inclusivity was evident in the diverse model lineup, which spanned various ages. The collection celebrated individuality and self-expression while honoring Balmain’s rich history and craftsmanship.

COURRÈGES

Courrèges’ Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week takes a nostalgic yet futuristic turn, emphasizing themes of time, memory, and the concept of “stolen moments.” Nicolas Di Felice, the brand’s design director, experimented with Courrèges’ trademark space-age forms, combining retro aesthetics with modern minimalism.

The collection combined sleek lines, vinyl fabrics, and structural pieces with fluid, relaxing patterns. Di Felice’s technique focused on the interplay of light and shadow, employing neutral tones such as white, beige, and metallic silver, with occasional strong pops of color.

Several ensembles highlighted Courrèges’ typical outerwear, such as tailored jackets and cropped coats, while others had looser, deconstructed shapes, adding to a sense of subtle revolt against fixed time structures.

DRIES VAN NOTEN

The Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2025 collection presented a captivating blend of exotic textiles and intricate embroideries, characterized by a vibrant color palette and bold print clashes that emphasized playful silhouettes mixing masculine and feminine elements.

Statement pieces featured striking coats, slip dresses, draped skirts, and camisoles— the latter crafted from jewel-tone silks—all reflecting Van Noten’s signature artistry and celebrating the brand’s unique vision and creativity.

With its dynamic visual impact, the collection encourages individuality and self-expression. Playful shapes, like oversized blouses and fluid skirts, offer versatility for effortless styling and layering.

By focusing on luxurious fabrics and unexpected design elements, this collection invites wearers to explore new dimensions of style, while celebrating the artistry that defines Van Noten’s work.

RABANNE

Rabanne’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection presents an exciting fusion of casual elegance and innovative design, perfectly capturing the spirit of modern fashion. The collection emphasizes versatile silhouettes adorned in icy pastels and shimmering sparkles, inviting wearers to explore a refreshing aesthetic.

Key pieces include blazers gathered at the back, lending a contemporary twist to classic tailoring, while mariner striped tees featuring embroidered lace offer a playful yet sophisticated touch.

The collection showcases a range of shapes, from structured to fluid, with airy silk organza layers enhancing the overall movement. Notably, a standout silver sparkly dress captures attention, embodying glamour and modernity while adding a touch of dazzling allure.

ZOMER

Zomer’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, showcased at Paris Fashion Week, dives into escapism and vibrant self-expression. The collection incorporates bold colors, geometric prints, and fluid shapes, blending a futuristic aesthetic with nostalgic references.

Zomer’s playful yet sophisticated designs balance between streetwear and high fashion, focusing on oversized silhouettes, dynamic layering, and standout accessories. The brand emphasizes a youthful, carefree spirit, reflecting a modern, boundary-pushing take on personal style.

Stay tuned for day four of Paris Fashion Week!
